554 Transaction failed Reject due to domain's DMARC policy

Reason

The email has not passed the necessary authentication checks (SPF/DKIM) required by the domain's DMARC policy. The domain owner has specified that unauthenticated messages should be rejected.

Solution

  • for customers
If it was a legitimate email, but you are not the person responsible for the domain's mail system, please contact your email provider so that they can take measures to ensure that the authenticity checks on your emails are successful again.

  • for administrators
Please make sure that your DKIM and/or SPF setup is working correctly so that the authenticity checks requested via your DMARC policy are successful again and thus further rejections can be ruled out.
If you have specified the rua option for receiving DMARC reports in your DMARC record, please also use the reports sent to you to check your configuration.

  • for mailing lists
If you operate a mailing list, please follow the general recommendations or the specific recommendations of your listserver software provider on how to set up a DMARC-compliant configuration.
